Muc-Off Speed Polish Review

Review Date December 2014

By Sharon Parker

I like my bike to look all shiny. Also I like my bike to be protected as much as possible against the wet and therefore possible corrosion and rust. My bike is a Keeway RKS 125cc and I had heard all the horror stories of how they may rust at the first sight of water. So I decided from the off I was going to do the best I could to look after my new bike.

Muc-Off Speed polish claims to be a quick and easy to use polish and wax in one that will leave a water resistant barrier to your motorcycle's body work and metal parts. That seemed to fit my bill and a can was purchased.

I have been using Muc-Off Speed Polish on my bike for over a year now. It really is very quick and easy to use. The instructions tell you to spray direct on the bike but I myself prefer to spray onto a microfibre cloth and then wipe over the bike. After a minute the polish begins to haze and with a another clean microfibre cloth I buff the bike. It does not take hardly any effort at all to bring the bike to a high shine. The chrome parts gleam and the paintwork comes up an absolute treat.

It also seems to have provided the protection as well with my Keeway still looking great despite being taken out throughout the winter.

Bit of polish keeps this bike looking mighty fine!

Some waxes and polish can be hard work. Leaving white marks on your black plastic parts and requiring a lot of elbow grease. Muc-Offs Speed Polish really does provide all the shine with minimal effort.

I really do love this stuff and cannot recommend it highly enough. It gets a super shiny score of 10/10.
